Download and install

multiprompt is a small Windows app that runs many AI coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, Pi) side by side in one window of vertical tabs, and tells you which one needs you. Every tab is a real native shell, so ten agents use about 30 MB instead of the 300 to 500 MB a terminal app needs.

Requires Windows 10 or 11. No installer is needed.

  1. Open the releases page.
  2. Download the file for your PC:
    • multiprompt-x64.exe for most PCs (Intel or AMD).
    • multiprompt-arm64.exe for Snapdragon laptops.
  3. Put it in a folder of your choice, rename it to multiprompt.exe and run it.

For the docked browser pane, also download zigshell-bridge-x64.exe or zigshell-bridge-arm64.exe, rename it to zigshell-bridge.exe and put it next to multiprompt.exe.

The Android companion app lets you follow and prompt your sessions from a phone.

  1. On the phone, download multiprompt-companion.apk.
  2. Open it and allow installing from this source when Android asks.
  3. Later versions show up on the app’s Update screen.

The extension connects Chrome to the browser pane, so agents can open and read pages next to their shell. It is optional.

  1. Download the source code (.zip) from the releases page and unzip it.
  2. In Chrome, open chrome://extensions and turn on Developer mode.
  3. Click Load unpacked and pick the extension folder.

Use the extension from the same release as the app. After an update, click the reload icon on the extension card.
